As you arrive in Mudgee from the Lithgow side, one of the first vineyards you’ll see is First Ridge. Specialising exclusively in premium Italian varietals, and highly awarded for their Vermentino, Fiano, Prosecco and Barbera, First Ridge can also boast that they have one of the most picturesque cellar doors in Mudgee with incredibly expansive views across the valley.

Our Client Services Director, Steve White, has had a wealth of experience in branding and marketing for the wine industry having been instrumental in the rebranding of the Hunter Valley Wine & Tourism Association, which led him working with the likes of Brokenwood, Pepper Tree and De Iuliss in the Hunter just to name a few, and it was this experience which led to our relationship with First Ridge.

With the master brand and label system in place, there was still a constant need for other materials to be developed. From quarterly newsletters, the building and ongoing updates to their website, print advertising, through to the design of their wholesale and cellar door price lists, there isn’t too many touchpoints that we’ve not been involved in.

2023 however, saw us involved in the production of two video clips for First Ridge that could be used on their website, social media channels and at the various trade shows they attend. One of the video’s was tailored to tell the overarching visual story of the vineyard, while the other was more specifically tailored to couples, as First Ridge also offer wine catering for weddings in the popular regional town.

Using the services of renowned Sydney photographer and videographer, John Fryz, we spent two action packed days capturing every aspect of the vineyard and the cellar door experience and then set about the artful process of editing all the best shots and adding music in to an appropriate sequence to tell the stories in the best possible way.

The results speak for themselves, as does the ever popular stable of First Ridge wines which can be found at firstridge.com.au.
